We stayed at Palacio De Mengibar for our journey between South and North Spain. The hotel's location was perfect for us to avoid rush hour in Madrid. The secure parking and helpful staff were a bonus. The hotel itself is a beautiful old palace with lots of charming details. Our room had a lovely view of the courtyard. The food at the hotel was excellent value for money, both for dinner and breakfast. a great choice in this area.

We were pleasantly surprised by the elegant luxury and castle-like setting of this amazing hotel. The room was great and the facilities were top-notch. The price was also very reasonable, especially considering the quality. The hotel parking garage was convenient and the hour of free spa with a private bubble bath was a nice bonus. The hotel bar was a great dining option, as the other choices in town seemed risky. The town itself may have had an odd smell, but it didn't infiltrate the hotel. we highly recommend a stop here if you're in the area or passing through. It's a great way to spoil yourself without breaking the bank.

The food was excellent with a lot of alternatives. The hotel was so close to centre of Mengíbar, authentic old Spanish palace and an old castle thanks to its stunning and amazing location.
